Imagine a divine space filled with sweets, candy, bubbly drinks, pretty shoes and dashing femmes hailing from all over Montreal. Sounds like a girly party from heaven, doesn’t it? Thankfully, heaven came to the upscale PRFKT Boutique in the Montreal World Trade Center and eFashionista re-created what Sex in the City cocktails would have looked like if all of us were Carries.

Being known for truly focusing on the itsy-bitsy details, as they say, including custom stationary, grandiose florals, colorful candy table designs, yummy cocktails and every frilly element the trendy, young professional female can hope for, efashionista’s Tania Semper delivered.

Baking in Heels was meant to unleash the domestic goddess in all the guests – a perfectly manicured one, that is! With a creative spin on the usual workshop, the High Heel Atelier sponsored by Vince Camuto featured Tina Karr, a dynamic and charming high heel expert that offered all the ladies tips and tricks on how to choose the perfect heel and how to wear it while baking. An interactive “do your best high-heel walk-off” took place with volunteers offering themselves up to win Vince Camuto heels and Marina Marina bathing suits. It was quite a sight to see and we unfortunately failed miserably…but took home some practical tips on how to sexify our walk.

With lipsticks smeared from the deliciously topped whipped cream desserts, we strutted over to the baking-inspired Beauty Bar by the one and only Caroline Theoret, who showed us how to apply baking-proof makeup and perfectly glossed our lips. We were ready to mingle again and sip on the Pumpkin Spice Martinis that were being worshipped all over the boutique.

The event was glitzy, pretty, pink, and flowery, surrounded by a cloud of delightful perfume, but, besides all that, it also raised funds for a local women’s shelter. Montreal-born Antoine Tavaglione, a pop-artist whose work we have been following for a while, painted a limited-edition high heel that was auctioned off after the event. Who said fabulous doesn’t give back?
