The Winebar Kensington is one of those dimly light, cozy places you can hang in for hours. Whether you’re on a date or catching up with friends, you won’t want to hurry through at this trendy little joint.

The comprehensive wine list is easy to navigate. Wines offered by half or full glass or bottle are grouped together on the menu, making selections easier for whatever your intended intake is. If you’re not a fan of wine, Winebar Kensington also offers selections of port, scotch and beer. The beer list includes such craft brews as Dead Frog Ale and Rogue Dead Guy Ale, kitschy names that'll make any night festive.

If you’re planning on making an evening of your visit to Winebar Kensington, you’ll definitely want to sample some menu items. From light snacks made for sharing to fully fledged meals, WBK has something for everyone. There are beautiful cheese and charcuterie places, the former featuring three cheeses, compotes and crostini, while the latter features meats, accompaniments with crostini. If you’re looking for something you can hog all to yourself without offending anyone, be sure to check out the Sundried Tomato Mascarpone Ravioli with arugula cream, pistachios and olives.

Our male readers may want to take note of the fact Winebar seems to be a hot spot for ladies to come with a group of their friends. And of course no girls' night out is complete without something sweet. Winebar Kensington’s dessert offerings are as varied as their wine list. There’s warm apple pie, dark chocolate cake with house amaretto gelato, and warm raspberry compote as well as an unbaked basil cheesecake served with strawberries and pine nut crumble.
