Get crackin’ to Kerrisdale and find the ultimate comfort food fix...

Just in time for Fall/Winter's blustery season, we’ve discovered (yet) another reason to boot it out of town for some chow on any given Sunday. Opening on October 15th is perhaps the best invention ever! The Mac Shack has set up shop at 5395 West Boulevard, nestled amongst the trendy boutiques, cafes and galleries that line the street of this swanky hood just outside of Vancouver’s downtown core.

A mere 10-minute drive from the Kitsilano area will land you in the middle of macaroni heaven. The Mac Shack’s mandate is, simply put, to find ways to create the Ultimate Mac. This quest has resulted in delectable, cheesy creations overflowing with flavours that are guaranteed to leave your taste buds tickled...and it’s so not KD-style.

Don’t expect to find that fluorescent orange, powdered stuff that sustained you through fourth year finals. Rather, we implore you to try their spin on one of the 10 special Mac Shack Selections they will be featuring, or build it yourself. It’s like a carb-lover's buffet and they’ll serve icy cold beer and wine to wash it down.

Are you Gluten-free or vegan? Rest assured, they’ve got plenty of options for you too, and plenty of in-between. Opt for lighter fare like homemade soups and crisp, fresh salads to round out the gooey-fueled overload while you watch the latest Canucks game on their big screen in this cozy atmosphere.

Drop by for lunch, dinner (or grab goods to-go) seven days a week, and be sure to save room for dessert!
