Director of Digital Sales – Toronto

Job Description

Notable.ca, the undeniable online source for young professionals and trendsetters in Canada, is looking for a Director of Digital Sales to join our dynamic and growing team. You will play an integral role in the growth of our company and love seeing the fruits of your labour in real time (well, almost real time). The person we're looking for is extremely media savvy and has a penchant for developing relationships with new clients, consultative selling, has a track record (and loves) improving the bottom line, and is undeniably passionate about growing your career with one of Canada’s most influential online brands. You will work directly with the Founder and CEO of Notable, and will learn and lead a lot.

You are the type of person that wakes up in the morning and thinks "the world is full of opportunity, it's up to me to capitalize..." We're the type of company that will support this and offer you a springboard to make it happen.

Some key roles to this position are:

- Building and developing key advertising accounts with agencies and brands across Canada

- Prospecting and presenting new partnership and advertising opportunities

- Creating brand new advertising packages

- Staying up to date on the latest developments and offerings in the digital media industry in order to offer our clients optimal advertising options for their campaigns

- Attendance of some evening/ weekend galas & events required

- Helping to improve our sales process

Key Qualification:

- 5+ years of previous online media sales experience in the Canadian market(Note: Online Media Sales experience is a must for consideration)

- You have key contacts at the major media and advertising agencies in Canada

- Bachelors degree or equivalent

- You're a true sales professional - you do what you love, and love what you do

- A true self-starter who is passionate about their career, the sales process, and consulting clients on how to best reach their advertising goals

- You are an expert on all things online

- Comfortable working in a start-up environment where things move fast

Photography Intern

Job Description

Notable, the leading Canadian brand for Young Professionals, is seeking a Photography Intern to work with our experienced team of Editors.  We are looking for Photo Interns in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Calgary. Notable internships are unpaid but structured to give the interns maximum exposure to the world of digital publishing, our goal being to provide them with solid experience that will quickly help them find paid work.
Ideal candidates will be comfortable with:


- Panasonic Lumix or Canon SLR comparable camera

-  Experience shooting events, parties, fashion show, interiors and food

- A general understanding of photo editing software and a passion to learn more!

- An ability of navigating the boroughs quickly and easily

- A professional disposition for working with prominent members of the hospitality and PR industries


Schedules are flexible but 10-15 hours of work per week is expected.
