British cuisine is taking over the city. The latest in this English-craze is Bristol Yard, a darling little spot near Christie Pits (146 Christie Avenue). Serving up some of the best meat pies you'll ever devour, Scotch eggs so sinfully indulgent, and a retro/cottage vibe that has to be seen, The Bristol Yard is a definite must-try.
This 2,800 sq. ft. establishment that just opened up at 229 Geary Avenue is a resto/club to be reckoned with. Focusing heavy on music as part and parcel of the experience, Kitch's menu is kind of a Latin comfort food fusion. Tacos, mac n' cheese with a kick and the like are amped up staples here, and the long bar is the perfect attraction for imbibing locals.

Hoof Raw Bar
Those who subscribe to the temple of The Black Hoof ought to note this: The team behind the head-to-toe animal eatery opened up a neighbouring raw bar this week, serving up exemplary takes on any seafood or fish you can imagine. Hoof Raw Bar (926 Dundas Street West) will undoubtedly rile up the foodies and impress the West End crowd. Just be prepared to wait for a seat...
